At Art’s Campus in Umeå one building is the old Grindery – Sliperiet. This house is populated by artistic and creative students, reserchers, entrepreneurs and us: Kulturverket! Here we want to inspire the pupils in Umeå to be creative and to think big!
Autumn term is soon to finish. But before christmas we have a lot to show off!
Listen to the song about Torito, the cat with a 1000 lives. The song is written by Alma, one of the kids at the Play Therapy at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå.
From hearing a Sami story, the pupils were to illustrate what animals they had heard about in the story.
In November The Swedish Forum for Human Rights takes place in Umeå. We’re in the programme.
We’ve moved! We now have our office at Sliperiet, at the Arts Campus by the river in central Umeå. Sliperiet is a new works space for Umeå University and the creative industries in Umeå.
We’re off for the summer. In August we’re back, well rested, from our new offices at Sliperiet in Umeå. See you then!
Around 1500 personer came to T3-Arena, to see Fair Game. The weather was wonderful, the football great, the music beautiful and the audience perfect! Together we raised 56000 kr to give to Hjältarnas Hus.
During May we will be very busy at Kulturverket, coordinating football players with orchestra, choirs with actors and dancers. Fair Game is a very unique production – a football musical!
